AMS "Impressor" Crimping Machine The AMS #CMD-B3 Crimping Machine joins Plastic and Aluminum Backload Mouldings. The work table is a free-standing unit with mechanism built into a 24" x 36" (61cm x 91cm) wood composite work surface that sits on a sturdy steel frame. The 36" (91cm) high work surface is permanently tilted at a 45° angle. The AMS Impressor is a foot-activated pneumatic unit. It can join frames 5" x 5" (12.7cm x 12.7cm) or larger. With a special modification, it can be adjusted to join small 3" x 5" frames. Unless otherwise specified, machines come with tooling designed to join industry-standard 5/8" (16mm) and 0.595"-width aluminum backload extrusions. Dieheads for other frame sizes are available upon request.
